Auto Insurance

There’s a lot to think about when it comes to auto insurance coverage. Here are several reasons why you should consider Erie Insurance for your auto insurance coverage.

ERIE Rate Lock® – This feature gives you a chance to lock in a competitive premium on your auto insurance so you’ll pay the same amount year after year.1 With ERIE Rate Lock, your low, locked-in premium will never change — even if you submit a claim — until you add or remove a vehicle or driver, or change your primary residence. (Not available in North Carolina and Maryland.)

Diminishing deductible – For each consecutive claims-free policy year that you’re insured with ERIE, we’ll reduce your deductible by $100 — up to $500.2

First accident forgiveness – Others talk about first accident forgiveness as if it were the hottest new thing. ERIE’s been offering it since 1991. Under ERIE’s first accident forgiveness feature, ERIE will guarantee that your auto policy won’t be surcharged the first time you’re in an at-fault accident.3

Totaled car replacement – If your new car that’s two years old or less is totaled and you want it replaced with a new one, that’s what ERIE will do when you have this coverage. It’s available through with the New Auto Security Coverage endorsement. It must be added to your auto policy within 60 days of the lease/purchase of the vehicle and you must have purchased comprehensive and collision insurance coverage. (Not available in New York or North Carolina.)

Loyalists – When you reward us with your continued business, we repay you with a special feature. After your policy has been continuously in force for 15 years with ERIE, you will not be surcharged for an at-fault accident.4

Discounts – From a discount for bundling your policies or one for being a safe driver, ERIE offers you more than a dozen discounts.5
