Milwaukee will celebrate one of its biggest parties of the year on August 22, 23 and 24.
That’s when Mexican Fiesta—billed as “three days of fun, food, mariachi and fiesta for everyone”—returns to a city known for its many festivals.
Mexican Fiesta offers more than just food and entertainment, though. It’s also an important celebration of Hispanic culture and a major fundraiser for the Wisconsin Hispanic Scholarship Foundation. That organization sponsors the event, with all proceeds going toward higher education scholarships for Hispanic students in the state of Wisconsin.
This year’s event has something in store for the whole family. Some highlights include an all-you-can-eat taco dinner, a folk fair, art gallery, golf tournament and the crowning of Ms. Mexican Fiesta Ambassador 2014. To further the mission of helping young Hispanics advance their educations, there will be a Student Informational Forum where young people can learn about scholarships, internships and workshops. Prominent Hispanic professionals from the community will also be sharing their success stories.
Erie Insurance is proud to sponsor this fun and mission-driven event. While you’re there, look for the Erie Insurance tent. Local ERIE Agent Harry Santiago will be greeting visitors and offering fun giveaways as well.
