If a tornado hit your home, would you know what to do?
Fortunately, Velma Hout knew the proper tornado safety procedures. The 90-year-old survivor took refuge in her bathroom when a devastating tornado tore through her town of Washington, Ill., in Nov. 2013.
The twister ended up destroying her home, but not her spirit. With help from her local Erie Insurance Agent and an ERIE claims adjuster, Velma quickly got on the road to recovery.
