On June 8, 32 ERIE Employees and Agents in Rochester, N.Y., supported Tour de Cure, a series of cycling events benefiting the American Diabetes Association. Employees from both Claims and Sales, along with Agents, rode bikes or staffed an ERIE-sponsored rest stop for the more than 2,500 riders.
Their teamwork paid off. They surpassed their fundraising goal, raising $5,837 for the cause. ERIE donated an additional $2,500 through a sponsorship. One ERIE Employee was even recognized for raising $1,000 on her own.
The team says they look forward to putting their pedal power to good use again next year.
